Snickers….we all tried it and enjoyed it. But on the other hand this chocolate has many calories that might hurt our healthy diet and weight. So, just for you we have prepared a recipe on how to create a “healthy version” of this chocolate.

Needed ingredients

  • 80g of almonds
  • 80g of urmia
  • little Himalayan salt
  • 2 tablespoons of peanut butter (smooth)
  • 1 tablespoon mace powder (optional)
  • 40 g of roasted salted peanuts

For the filling you will need:

  • 80g of urmia
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 3 tablespoons of water

For the dressing you will need:

  • 80g of dark chocolate (min. 75% of cocoa)
  • 1 teaspoon of coconut oil

How to prepare

Mixture #1: Put the urmia in warm water for 10 minutes, then peel their skin and remove the seeds. In a blender, mix the almonds, urmia, salt, peanut butter and mace powder. After a few minutes of blending, you will have a uniform mixture. Add salt and fried peanuts in the mix. Put the mixture in a baking pan and distribute it so it can have same thickness.

Mixture #2 (filling): In a blender, combine the urmia and vanilla extract. Add a spoon after spoon of water until the mixture becomes like cream. Then (with knife) apply this cream on mixture #1.

Mixture #3 (dressing): On low heat melt the dark chocolate and coconut oil. When the mixture becomes soft, pour it over the entire surface of the previous mixture. Put the baking pan in the cooler for at least 2 hours. Cut in into tiles of desired size and enjoy!
