A brief look at Instagram profile of actress and presenter Sofia Vergara leaves the visitors impressed from gym photographs, which is partly responsible for achieving her remarkable figure.

Although most people find it hard to believe, Sofia’s routine exercise is very achievable and, as we learn, gives fast results. This was revealed by her fitness instructor Jennifer Yates, who has given insights into the actress’s habits and useful tips on how to achieve your goal.

It’s okay to take a break

Sofia practices¬†five days per week, which is plenty and enough. There are two days for break and resting, and this is the period when the body becomes stronger. If you don’t allow your body to rest you are risking to overwork the muscles and become injured.


You do not have to run

Like many other people, Sofia is also not a big fan of running, so she walks on a treadmill to build muscles in the buttocks and legs. Sometimes she exercises on a stationary bike for about 20 minutes.

Accept your body

Sofia wants to build good muscles, and in order to look healthy and hot – she likes to have curves. Yates says, to add this she usually does cardio exercise, specifically brisk walking, which is the most effective exercise for her.


Work different types of training

If you think about running every day, it would be boring and un-stimulating for you, so you should change your fitness routine. Twice a week she practice exercises for the butt, because this is the area in which she likes to focus. Sometimes, we start with exercises for the upper body, and finish with exercises for the bottom.


Start with squats

Gym is too tiring for you? Then practice squats. Sofia and I practice this a lot, although doing squats is not easy. In order to protect her knees, I put a bench behind her, so she can sit, and then to return to the starting position. In this way, the abdominal muscles are still engaged. I suggest 25 squats a day, because it is a great way to get power.

Allow yourself a sweet

I always tell my clients that they shouldn’t have a sense of guilt. If you want a slice of pizza or cake, that’s fine. Just consider the quantity – in other words don’t eat a whole pizza or five pieces of cake.
