Although it’s winter, we have summer on our minds, so below we are gonna present you with a recipe for one of the most delicious (and easy to make) Mediterranean meals, named Neapolitan salad. For its preparation you need 20 minutes and few ingredients.
- 500 grams of tomatoes
- 1 cucumber
- 6 boiled eggs
- 2 onions
- 4 cans of tuna
- juice from half a lemon
How to prepare
Cut the tuna into small pieces and leave the oil from the cans. Wash the tomatoes, cut them on 6 pieces and remove the seeds. Peel the cucumber and cut it in shape of ring. Also remove the seeds.
Peel the hard-cooked eggs and cut them on 4 pieces. Cut the onions to thin layers. Blend the lemon juice, salt, pepper and the oil from the tuna cans and pour it over the ingredients. Mix all the ingredients gently for 5 minutes.
This meal is best served with toasted bread with garlic and butter combined with some wine or tea.
